CCP Influence Allegations Rock Anti-ICE Protests: Congress Demands Investigation

Concerns are mounting over potential links between far-left anti-ICE protest groups and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), prompting calls for Congressional investigations. These allegations emerged amidst a wave of escalating violence across the nation during demonstrations against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations and the removal of undocumented immigrants.

The situation intensified earlier this month in Los Angeles, where anti-ICE protests spiraled into full-blown riots. Violent clashes between protesters and ICE agents, along with other law enforcement personnel, resulted in a significant response: President Donald Trump deployed both the California National Guard and active Marines to quell the unrest.

The violence wasn’t confined to Los Angeles. On June 14th, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) issued dispersal orders following violent clashes during the “No Kings” anti-Trump protests. Reports indicate protesters hurled rocks and bricks at law enforcement. Similarly, in Portland, Oregon, the Portland Police Bureau declared a riot as “No Kings” protesters engaged in violent confrontations with federal officers outside an ICE facility, leaving multiple officers injured.

These incidents have fueled calls for a thorough investigation into the alleged CCP connections, raising serious questions about the organization and funding of these protests and the extent of foreign influence on domestic affairs.
