Elon Musk, the tech titan and former White House advisor, unleashed a scathing attack on a Republican-backed budget bill, sparking a swift response from the administration. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Musk didn’t mince words, calling the legislation a “disgusting abomination.”
In a series of fiery posts, Musk expressed his outrage. “I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” he declared. “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
His criticism didn’t stop there. Musk further argued that the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” as it’s known, will dramatically worsen the national debt. He projected a staggering increase, claiming it will “massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion (!!!) and burden American citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt.” The White House is yet to offer a detailed response to Musk’s pointed critique.
