Seven Wounded in Washington State Park Shooting: A Critical Update

Chaos erupted at Harry Todd Park in Lakewood, Washington, Wednesday evening, leaving seven people injured in a shooting incident. The incident unfolded shortly before 8 p.m., prompting a flood of calls to emergency services reporting gunfire.

Upon arrival, Lakewood Police Sgt. Charles Porche described the scene as “very hectic.” Five victims were transported to area hospitals by paramedics, while two others sought medical attention independently. A grim update revealed that three of the victims sustained critical injuries.

The investigation is still in its early stages, with police yet to determine the number of suspects or whether the victims were specifically targeted. As of Wednesday night, no arrests have been made. The Lakewood Police Department is urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward and assist in the investigation.
