Trump Denies Iran Removed Uranium Before US Airstrike: Concrete Workers, Not Smugglers

President Donald Trump has refuted claims that Iran removed uranium from the Fordow nuclear site before a recent US airstrike. Satellite imagery showing increased activity at the facility prior to the bombing fueled speculation of a potential uranium removal operation. However, Trump dismissed these interpretations in a statement on Truth Social.

Trump asserted that the observed trucks were not transporting uranium, but rather belonged to concrete workers engaged in sealing the shafts of the site. He stated that removing uranium would have been “too long, too dangerous, and very heavy and hard to move!”

The President’s explanation directly counters the interpretation of the satellite imagery, which had suggested a possible attempt to move sensitive materials ahead of the US military action. This conflicting narrative leaves the precise nature of the pre-strike activity at the Fordow site open to further scrutiny and debate.
