White House Slams CNN Report on Iran Strike Effectiveness: ‘Flat-Out Wrong’

White House Denounces CNN Report on Iran Nuclear Strike

The White House has vehemently rejected a CNN report suggesting that recent military strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities only inflicted minimal, temporary damage. The report, citing a leaked classified U.S. intelligence assessment, claimed the strikes set back Iran’s nuclear program by a mere few months.

In a strongly worded statement issued on June 24th, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed the report as “flat-out wrong.” Leavitt further accused CNN of relying on unreliable sources within the intelligence community, alleging the leak was a deliberate attempt to undermine President Trump and discredit the U.S. military personnel involved.

Leavitt’s statement characterized the leak as an attempt to “demean President Trump and discredit the brave fighter pilots who conducted a perfectly executed mission to obliterate Iran’s nuclear program.” She emphatically stated, “Everyone knows what happens when you drop fourteen 30,000-pound bombs perfectly on their targets—total obliteration.”

The White House’s forceful rebuttal directly contradicts the CNN report’s assessment of the strike’s effectiveness, raising significant questions about the accuracy of the leaked intelligence and the motivations behind its release.
