
The close-knit community of Almonte, Ontario, is grappling with the devastating loss of 9-year-old Archer Lowe, a vibrant young boy who tragically died following a collision with a school bus on June 25th.
The incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. near a local school as Archer was riding his bicycle. Witnesses immediately sprang into action, performing life-saving measures at the scene before emergency services arrived. Archer was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries, but sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. In a heartbreaking social media post, Archer’s mother, Sarah Lavergne, expressed the family’s immeasurable grief, sharing that they had lost “the most important part of us tragically.”
