Operation Restoring Justice and Operation Soteria Shield: A Major Victory Against Child Exploitation

In a significant blow against child sexual exploitation, the FBI recently announced the successful completion of two major operations resulting in the arrest of 449 alleged child predators and the rescue of over 200 children. Deputy Director Dan Bongino shared the news on social media, highlighting the agency’s unwavering commitment to protecting vulnerable youth.

Operation Restoring Justice, conducted in May, led to the arrest of 205 alleged child sex predators and 764 purveyors of child sexual abuse material. This operation resulted in the rescue of 115 children. Following this success, Operation Soteria Shield, concluded more than a week ago, yielded an additional 244 arrests of suspected child predators and the rescue of 109 children.

Director Bongino issued a strong warning: “If you’re preying on children, we are coming for you.” This statement underscores the FBI’s dedication and unwavering pursuit of those who exploit children. These operations represent a significant milestone in the fight against child sexual abuse, demonstrating the FBI’s proactive approach and commitment to protecting the most vulnerable members of society.

While celebrating these victories, the FBI continues to investigate other high-profile cases, including the alleged cover-up of COVID-19 information, the leak of the 2022 Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, and the pipe bomb incidents at the Republican and Democratic National Committee headquarters in January 2021.
