Israel Targets Iranian State TV Studio in Precision Strike

In a significant development, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed a targeted strike on a studio utilized by Iranian state media. The operation, carried out on June 16th, was described by the IDF as a "precise strike" based on intelligence gathered on a communication center allegedly repurposed for military operations by the Iranian Armed Forces.

According to an IDF statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the building masked its military usage behind a facade of civilian activity. The IDF emphasized the deception employed by Iranian forces, highlighting the concealment of military infrastructure and assets under the guise of civilian operations.

The IDF also revealed proactive measures taken to minimize civilian harm. These measures reportedly included advance warnings delivered directly to civilians via phone calls, underscoring a commitment to minimizing collateral damage.
