Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s newly formed Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) has suffered an early setback. Just days before its inaugural meeting, one of its eight appointed members, Dr. Michael Ross, has withdrawn from his position.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) confirmed Dr. Ross’s resignation on June 24th, citing the financial holdings review required of all committee members.
